Saturday evening we had a great time at Open Door Baptist Church in Bamberg, SC. Pastor Dean Deere and his folks always are so gracious to us. While we were there it rained cats and dogs.Sunday afternoon we sang at Johns Island Church of God of Prophecy where Amanda's Uncle is pastor, Mike Droze. There was a great crowd there and the Spirit of God was powerful. Afterwards, a friend of ours, Eddie Winkler, came to help me with sound equipment. We had loaded it in the trailor and within minutes, a HUGE thunderstorm came. While we were leaving the church we were literally dodging trees that lightening had struck and had fallen in the road. SCARY!
That same evening at 6pm we were honored to visit Holmes Avenue Baptist in North Charleston. Just for everyone's information their Minister of Music Richard Summey is NUTS! We have really had a great time getting to know him. We had a great crowd that evening and the great Spirit. Oh, and did I mention that it rained while we were there too?
Whoooooo! We're tired and a little wet, but it was a great couple of days.

Pastor Dave and the folks at Edisto River COG were so gracious to us. We had a wonderful time of worship last evening that ended with 5 people coming to receive Christ as their Savior. I believe we've got some new friends up here in Givhans.

Midway Baptist Church

Pastor Billy asked me to fill the pulpit for him yesterday morning. I was honored to do so. To my surprise Pastor Billy came to the service and sat on the front row just days after have knee replacement surgery. He has always been a wonderfully consisitent friend in the ministry. The worship service was fantastic and at the end of the day we had one man come and accept Christ as his Savior. Praise the Lord!

North Trident Baptist Church Revival
Posted at 3:49 am EST
North Trident had Dr. Randall Jones in for Revival all this week. What a great man of God! Dr.Jones was the long time pastor of Langston Baptist Church in Conway, SC and now evangelizes full-time. I was honored to sing 2 songs before he preached and the Lord had it all lined up. Before my last song I shared a story about Jacob wrestling the Lord in Gen. 32. I then sang "Jesus, I Just Want To Say" and Dr. Jones got up and preached a message from Gen. 32. God knows what he's doing.
Rev. Michael Crocker is doing an excellent job at NTBC. You ought to visit if you get the chance.

What a wonderful worship service this morning. We were blessed to visit with Dr. J.L. Cook at the Sanctuary of Leland. After we sang Dr. Cook preached a great prophecy message out of Revelation 16. At the end of the service one young lady gave her heart to Christ. It was a great day!

Storms and Sickness
Posted at 2:23 pm EST
What a day today has been! When we first woke up this morning Amanda had a severely sore throat and could not sing. The weather was dreadful and I was wondering if we would even have an opportunity to sing this morning. WHOOOOO! I called Stephanie and let her know that there was no need to go to Calvary Baptist because Amanda would not be there. I went alone. The weather was unbelievable but God sure did do a great work! That I know of, we had 4 people that said they prayed to receive Christ. The day started off rough but got better REEEEEAAAAAL quick! Pastor Dean and Mrs. Beth were once again very gracious to this ministry. I highly recommend Calvary Baptist Church in James Island, SC.
